About the Edith Bankes Memorial Hall

We are a community owned and run venue.

Picture
The Edith Bankes Memorial Hall was erected by the late Sir John Eldon Bankes in memory of his wife in 1932

The grounds & the building were conveyed to the Northop Parish Council upon trust for use by the residents of Northop. The Hall has been used in the past as a magistrates court & doctors surgery.  The hall has recently been refurbished & is regularly used & and is an important part of the village.

A beautiful, listed building, but with modern, high standard fittings, Northop Village Hall is an ideal venue for parties, wedding receptions, meetings or clubs and activities.

Parking is available across the road from the Hall.
