The Edith Bankes Memorial Hall was erected by the late Sir John Eldon Bankes in memory of his wife in 1932
The grounds & the building were conveyed to the Northop Parish Council upon trust for use by the residents of Northop. The Hall has been used in the past as a magistrates court & doctors surgery. The hall has recently been refurbished & is regularly used & and is an important part of the village. |
Equipped with a kitchen, two smaller meeting rooms, main hall and toilets.

Current users include Dance Classes, Brownies, The WI, Yoga, Toddler Groups and many more. The hall is also used as a Polling Station and, having a full stage, lighting and sound system hosts the annual Northop Pantomime.
